As we have moved rapidly into the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI), we have discovered that it is nearly impossible to regulate or contain its use by students, colleagues, administrators, and other community members. As educators, we have many unanswered questions about the current and potential uses and misuses of AI in our world. It is time to explore these questions to inform practice across all College of Education programs for teachers, school administrators, and other education leaders.

We will examine the complexities of maintaining a human-centered approach while navigating the challenges of AI regulation and misuse. Attendees will engage with strategies for building equity-centered mindsets and fostering a culture of innovation across higher education and leadership. By centering student voice and ethical advocacy, this session equips educational leaders with the tools needed to develop robust policies and practical frameworks. Participants will leave with actionable insights on how to scale AI literacy, build trust, and lead organizational change that prioritizes the human element in a digital age.
