Are you working on digital accessibility compliance at your institution? PDFs got you down? Let’s talk. We will discuss why PDFs are often barriers to accessibility (the bad), how difficult they are to remediate (the ugly), and what you can do about them (the alternatives).

We will provide a framework to inventory, audit, and resolve your PDF problems. You will have the opportunity to discuss strategies, share resources, and leave the session with checklists, templates, and other tools.

Learning Outcomes - Apply strategies to inventory, audit, and triage Portable Document Format (PDF) files. - Reduce or replace PDF files with more accessible, sustainable formats. - Identify baseline validation and remediation checkpoints for ensuring PDF accessibility.
